Quote - You did check the manual, right?  There is a complete breakdown of each node with a brief description of all the attributes.  It is a start.

The manual usually reads like this:

"The subsurface skin node provides subsurface visibility for the skin in which you use it on".....

or

"This color node is responsible for adding color to the material"....

or...

"The multiply value multiplies the values of both nodes"....

.....

A proper manual would say something like this:

"hey want to see something cool? Add this node and this node and this node.... See how X node works with X node? See the result? The effect?"...

***"want to see subsurface skin in action in ten various different ways? Look and be amazed, combined this node & this node and watch how amazing the skin looks"...
