On a side note, it would be ideal if there was some kind of chat room where conversations like these go on 24/7.

The renderosity chat room was designed perfectly for professional colloboration but is plagued with casual non-3d discussion.  This makes it hard to sort through all the convo looking for 3D discussion. Anyways.
