I think you can tell from this that i have never lit a stage before (or even been on one).  There's a point light I can turn down.

But my main problem is how to get the lights coming from the object spotlights in the 3d real spotlights, because positioning them is turning out to be hard.  If I select the light to position it then the cone (which shows where I want to place it) disappears out of my sight.  I'm not sure I"m explaining my problem well.
