Was kind of in a rush when I made my suggestions, wanted to add that parenting the disembodied eyes to a sphere primitive will make it easier to move the eye sets about your scene, the eyes themselves may still be rotated about their own axis or may be rotated as a group via the primitive. The visibility of the the Parent sphere may be toggled in it's properties tab or within the Hierarchy editor.

Also if you're having difficulty seeing in a darkened poser scene you might want to consider creating a preview only infinite light which will illuminate the workspace but will not be calculated during render. A preview only light can be created by the light parameter palette/properties tab/advanced material properties, which will bring you into the material room. There change the diffuse and specular color chips to black on the light.
