Here is a progress report. I had to dump the last model. I inadvertantly started modeling it UPSIDE DOWN (don't ask me what I was thinking, the answer probably isn't something you can repeat with children in the room), so I restarted it while I was in the airport in Taipei...

I am working on the head rest right now, and trying to solve how I am going to mount it to the table.
