**lmckenzie**, funny you should mention that particular image, it's the only one out of the lot that was vaguely interesting to me. Unfortunately the woman looks like so many other Poser Pretties that it fails to live up to it's potential. Compare to this painting by Gerhard Richter, both are simple portraits that are trying to evoke a mood or emotional response. Of the two, which is more impressive? I know the comparison isn't really fair, but if words like amazing and fantastic and perfect are going to be thrown around... well then.

of course you're right... in the end it is the beholder's preference. I just think that alot of Poser artists would be well served if they took a look around at the world of art outside of CG or commercial art.
