The answer is "MS".  And the fact that I've used Nortons since I first went on line.  The same reason I use Google and not bing.  I don't give a damn about pretty pictures on a search engine, I want the information I'm looking for.  I can still read, contrary to the ms opinion of the world.  Nortons Internet Security isn't that expensive, ordered from Purplus, I'll have it in a few days and it doesn't seem to slow the computer down.
