Yeah aeilkama, I also don't care for the marketing hype/angle.  I'm not against marketing, just that style.  But anyways, I will probably skip it, and certainly get the Digital Lighting and rendering book at some point in time.  The video format is handy though, I can put them on my phone for watching when I'm killing time.
