I'm a bit concerned by this whole attitude we see in the poser forum lately, in respect to various topics.... we all need to travel the same road and do the same things and use the same resources, instead of being a bit more open minded and finding what suits us.

The book is awesome, but personally, for various reasons, I prefer videos and I'm sure there are others who are in the same boat as me.

The lighting book is very good on the theory and does help, the difficulty I had was making that work in Poser.  On the other hand I purchased a number of books on Poser 5 and 6 and again with Poser 8, when I was running those versions, and I found it hard work to learn and apply the techniques.  The same could be said for modelling books.  Then I discovered the Digital Tailor tutorials here and found I learnt form more from watching them than I ever did from the manuals.  I now tend to spend my money of video tutorials instead of books.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
