I started with Poser 3, which I bought in a shop in Manchester. I upgraded to Poser 4. I bought Poser 5, which acted badly because it needed more memory to run properly. So I stuck to Poser 4 until my next computer came with a system upgrade that Poser 4 would not run properly under. So I bought Poser 7, and later Poser 8, but mostly used Poser 7, under Windows Vista.

A few days ago I had to buy a new PC, and it came with Windows 8, which refuses to load Poser 7 (says that it is incompatible), so I am using my Poser 8, and I have Poser 9 on order. I have never used any of the Poser---Pro--'s.

Having terabytes of memory seems wierd :: I remember the old days before desktops came, when one million words of store was impossibly big, back in the Mesozoic in the late 1960's.
