Sure, I got my trusty cannon dv cam and acted out the movements, i then took a "clean plate" where i wasn't in frame. i took a still frame of the video of me and traced it using the pen tool in Lightwave modeler, then i textured it with the still, i imported the obj to Lightwave layout, then i used a combo of napalm and lw's particle fx to make me shatter/dissolve (or what ever you'd call it) then i rendered that out, took it to commotion pro and composited me moving over the parts of the still model of me that hadn't exploded yet, then i did some cloning, and touch up painting on problem frames to help match the moving video with the exploding still obj, then color corrected the two clips, then i took all that and composited it over the clean plate, did some final touch ups in AE. -Nate Howe
