Ah, I see. It took me a while to properly grasp the distinction between joint centres which inevitably move as a result of scaling, and the other parameters which are determined by the set-up. If I have to edit all the joints it makes converting conforming items for S4 a lot more involved than "just" getting the morphs right. No wonder not many people do it.

If you'll all permit me a final rant: I was telling a non-Poser-using friend about the scaling issues - the character is part of a project we'd been discussing - and he was aghast to hear how difficult it was to produce different figure heights. I started to realise how often I stick with the figure's default body rather than divert my workflow when I'm seized by inspiration.

Do I remember reading somewhere that non-uniform body part scaling is finally working properly in Poser?
