I don't buy clothes models, any longer. But, here are my "I wish someone would make decent(s)"...

Hair - I'm getting really tired of buying a hair product, only to discover that it's got terrible textures or its UV map sucks or it just doesn't render well past the "cartoon wearing a construction helmet" look. (I've had to remodel and rework every hair item I have bought and that is just about all I ever buy, these days. I hate modeling hair... It causes my spleen to explode. So, that's the only geometry I ever buy.) I will no longer buy any hair from anyone that is not a recognized master hair model producer and who partners with a master texturer and materials artist... Period. (Even then, it's sometimes hit or miss. I only want "realistic" hair.)

Good Seamless Texture packs - I don't mean the "Look what I can do with online texture generators!" I mean good organics and patterns that don't look like a fractal mess. Good "prints" suitable for clothing with bump/displacement and even fake normals or specular maps. I want to see extra bump/displacement maps that cover differently textured materials that are not just desaturated copies of the original patterns.

Materials Packs - I know there are lots out there, but scrabbling through the search engine is hard work and there's plenty of sleeping to be done out there and I'm just the guy to do it! So, someone splurt out a Mat Pack with a gazillion awesome mats and effects so I don't have to play "Connect the funny little squares with spaghetti" mini-game included in Poser's Material room...

Good Light Sets with addons for Poser2012Pro - Yes, there are some new ones out I see. That's great. But, if I'm going to buy a lightset, I want to see a "Click Button To Make Art" kind of light set, not just one that has some IBLs with slightly different colors in them. I want to know how many lights are in each preset and I want to see the results with at least a loosely stated set of parameters. (I know that it's not feasible to release details, since their duplicable, but some clues are better than none when it comes down to making a decision.) I want to know why your lightset is unique and special and deserves my desperately hoarded dollars.

STOP IT WITH THE HAIR TEXTURES ALREADY - Really, we don't need fifty hue/saturation/color overlays of the same tired painted texture for every hair model that has ever been done. A nice realistic texture pack with real photo-based textures would be wonderful. Maybe even two, if they're good enough. I can do some hair texturing work on my own, but I dislike having to. (I know, it's not a "wanted product" it's a wanted release of valuable inventory space on my screen window when I'm browsing the marketplace.)

Stop it with the baked on shadows and highlights for everything, if possible - Really, at this stage in the game, we shouldn't have heavy baked on shadows on any textures. If you must, include them as a seperately rendered overlay for those users who do not want to use AO or have the latest additions of Poser to take advantage of IDL. A AO/Shadow overlay, rendered seperately, that the user can combine in a pose (provided) or as a separate layer for Photoshop or Gimp is all that is needed. Otherwise, I have to spend time removing your baked on stuff... The Clone Stamp and Repair Tools hate me.

Here's what I really want - I want lit wireframes. I don't buy conforming clothes/items because I can model better than what I see being sold... unless I see a wireframe that tells me differently. If I see one that is unique enough and gives me the information that I need to know if that object will be suitable, I might consider buying it. As it is, too many clothing model layout pages focus on the cleavage and legs of the figure model and not enough on the actual product being sold. I want meaningfull information and, to me, that means wires. (Included extra joint layouts would be nice, too.) Edit-Add - I will say that a couple of clothing producers have taken to including AO/Mudbox renders of their product. I would like to extend to them my warmest thanks and appreciation for this attention to professional levels of marketing detail. Now... gimme some wires! :D
