Quote - it's California sales tax. New tax laws for e-busines here in  the states. if you buy something on-line from a busines in a state that has sales tax then you have to pay the sales tax.

Except for download items. The California State Borad of Equalization does not require tax for intangible goods.

I actually went to the local office and asked personally.
