If the physical shipment is to the UK you get stung as it comes in to the country as many found out with their Poser 9/ Poser 2012 purchase a few years ago.

Actually most physical stuff I've bought the last decade or so from Asia/USA slip past customs (like DVDs, miniature gaming stuff etc). If it does not, then there's import duties to be payed - still would be looking at roughly the same sum as I would have to pay for the digital download. Anyways ... I'm not in a hurry to get the new toy so personally I'll just wait some months and weigh my options.
