Hmm, why not register, or re-register? It's common practise... shrug kupa is Steve Cooper from CL, the director or president or whatever the head honcho title is. Back when I thought cl = daz, I was wondering why daz doesn't require a registered serial number before purchase, and if a serial validator could be set up on CL (like cc# validators) so that other online stores could use it as an escrow, things would be great. This way only people with legit software can but plugins. A serial validator escrow would be a server on CL that someplace like Renderosity would connect to in order to check your serial number entered into an embedded store-purchase form before allowing purchase and download. I pressume all online stores validate cc#, why not serial numbers too? And since the serials would only be kept at CL, they can't be compromised by the actual online store. As for privacy issue... it's a non issue for me (what privacy???) so I won't bother arguing it. Anyway, it's still optional afaik. So don't get too uptight people ;)
