I don't think you can adjust any camera, physical or digital, to match the human eye. Way too much of our processing power is in the brain itself. Constantly adjusting the lens, the iris, the sensitivity of the retina, and innumerable filters and detectors along the pathway.
Lots of experiments have showed that the brain can produce the same image no matter how the physical parts of the eye are distorted by external lenses or by disease conditions.
