Y'know... I tinkered a bit, came up with something I could maybe start to work with, then tried rendering it without GC.  Suddenly the colors brightened and the contrast jumped to where I wanted it.  "That's it!" I shouted at the monitor, waking the cat.  Then, "Oh, wait...."

I get the sense that I just like things garish, which works directly against what GC is intended to do.  While I thank those who have tried for their efforts, I think GC and I will just have to disagree with one another for now.  It isn't worth the trouble to me.  I like the results better without it.  Everything I render looks like a cloudy, gray day to me, with GC.  No fun.

I admire what others can do with it.  Apparently I don't have that kind of skill or aptitude.  As I seem to be fond of saying, recently, fair enough.   I guess that means that Poser can't do what I would hope, in terms of lighting.  That's fine.  I can accept that.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
