I point all of my figures' eyes at this little crosshairs geometry.  It's lightweight and I've found it easier to locate and drag around in a complex scene than a more generic primitive.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
