Subject: The black spot on Katie's left hand

Here's a render showing exactly where the problem is, and a capture of part of the wireframe showing the defect.  IT would seem simple enough to delete the vertex on the doglegged edge at the short side of the triangle, but look beneath it, there are two other edges there, and they're directly below that pair of edges and he peaked vertex.  Deleting the two short edges, then the two below it, connecting the vertices that they joined and doing a cut to replace the missing vertex did it, as far as that part, but it's possible there is a flipped normal, and I have nothing that will show me that.  Also nothing that will flip one normal if it is, but it seems it wouldn't be easy to see even flipped, if that's what I'm seeing.  It's not the vertex causing the problem, but the two edges below it, that are admittedly hard to see in this capture.
