guys, Im not saying "dont register" this is one way they have an idea how many have the product, but I am saying "I" dont register anymore. Once was enuff. I have never had a problem upgrading to another version (and I do legally own and have purchased adobe 4 and 5, 5 was an upgrade) I just bought a program from the internet...I gave my real name, address, phone number... for several days now I have been spammed by companies via email, snail mail and phone for "since you have that..why not try this" schpills. Something that had almost stopped. fact is, companies make money by selling things like addresses, phone numbers, names...it may not be the company from whom you bought, but could be your cc company..or even your isp. They do it..every day. Im just of the mind, dont send me the stuff, if I want it...I will find it. Save a tree :) and if a company EVER tells me I cant upgrade because Im not registered...shrug, I'll just consider it money saved...or go somewhere else (another company) and buy a competitor's product. To each his own. Ya want to register..go for it. Ya dont..same. later BT
