A quick couple of comments- 1. The registration information we received from MetaCreations was very incomplete. So many people have contactd us in the past that had registered Poser with Meta yet they still don't show up in our records- a bad thing if you want to get replacement CDs for instance, because yours got scratched. So, re-registering is a good thing if you think it's valuable to a part of our records for follow-up at a later date. 2. If we don't have a way to get in touch with you, how can we let you know about future versions being available? Maybe you get everything you ever need from Renderosity, but if something should change down the road, the only sure way I can think of is for us to be able to get in touch with you. If you don't want that to happen, that's okay. But without giving you a way to be on our list, it's a sure thing that we can never get directly in touch with you. 3. You'll never have to be registered to get an upgrade. As long as you have a valid serial number, you'll qualify for upgrades. 4. Netscape issues? It shouldn't happen. We're checking into it. 5. Rejected PPP serial numbers? That should be fixed. 6. Other countries? That should be fixed as well. 7. Will we sell this information? No. It doesn't help us to have you spammed by a bunch of other folks. You'll ignore OUR communications. The only way this information has any value as a communication tool to us is if we protect it, and don't ever wear out our welcome in your IN BOX. And if you don't want us to ever send you anything, we'll be adding a privacy note and a check box that states that you don't want to hear from us. 8. My favorite one- it's not really a post from Curious or Cooper. I won't even go near that one. :-) Sincerly, Steve Cooper Curious Labs
