Subject: Gallery upload failure

The Poser gallery jsst now refused to accept the upload of an image that was well within guitelines: 1000 x 1200 and 401 KB, The image was created in Photoshop. I checked the size in the Graphics Converter utility which reported a sllightly SMALLER file size. That rules out the possibilty of a file glitch.

The error message said to check image file size and try again. When I checked confirmed the image ws OK and tried again, I got the same message. So what is wrong? Can you get the system people to check there error logs? As #19 on the favorite artists list I have a lot of experience uploading and pretty much know what I am doing.

I just noticed that no new posts have been accepted for an entire hour so I guess the gallery upload function is broken. I hope somebody is trying to fix it.

Naturally. I just had the same issue. Yet another bug. Perhaps it's time for some new IT people or a nonpartisan third party to come in and fix this site that was not broken until there was an attempt to "improve" it.

Sorry, but I'm getting bitter.

well, today I tried 4 times for one image and 3 on another. the third was my fault for failing to select a genre

We had a couple of server boxes that seem to have a configuration problem.  Which is why it’s not happening all the time to everyone.

 

This issue has been corrected so please try again and let me know if you have any problems.
