Purest speculation, but maybe it's not beyond reasonable to see HiveWire3d and SM working together.  Nobody is going to say that SM excels in character creation, although their latest are really good, and nobody is going to say that DAZ are programmers of software.  To have the creators of the V and M things working with SM, at least enough to be able to round out problems, could be something good all the way around.

But DAZ editing phrases now?  Hmm.  Lessons of history seem to escape them.
