By working together, I don't mean going into kahoots, but more of checking with each other to see what they have up their sleeves before going off on a tangent one or the other can't follow.  As in, and purest speculation here, if one comes up with a soft body dynamics, making sure there's not a figure without a program that can handle it, or a program feature and no figure to use it.  Software designers are somewhat dependent on figure designers, and vice versa.
