Nobody is going to say that SM excels in character creation, although their latest are really good, and nobody is going to say that DAZ are programmers of software. To have the creators of the V and M things working with SM, at least enough to be able to round out problems, could be something good all the way around.
I believe very much that they worked with SM. I see in one of their posts thanking couple of the Smith Micro poser rigging gurus (Nerd3D among a few) for help. (I think I saw this on facebook - I read so many post by HiveWire in several places I forget now what I read where.)
Nerd3D is one of the guys whose name you see on Poser credits splash screen and he writes tons of tutorials for Poser, if you don't already know who he is.
Working with him on a figure, you know the figure will be big deal!
