Quote - That was a cool list, AetherDream. I'm more a texture artist these days. I've only dabbled in modeling, modeled the first Yuletide Treasure Tree. Will Dupre modeled most of the newer one we put out, based on my original. I normally collaborate and texture. I hope I'm not being confused with someone else whose name starts with M, someone whose work I adore. :)
I have big plans for Dawn in the hopefully near future. However, right now, I'm wrapping my brain around a program that definitely does not work with my brainwaves, but it's the only program that does what it does, so I have no choice, if I want its benefits. I WISH there was another program that did the same kind of things in a different way that worked better with how I think. The program I used to 3D paint in is just too old and no longer supported or upgraded. So, I'm venturing out. I think there being both Poser and DS available to us for posing and arranging our figures is a terrific thing. The split in the market saddened and discouraged me. I'm glad for the Dawn.
Dawn has terrific joint work. She has native rigging in both Poser9+ and DS 4.5+. She is beautifully modeled. She is the dawn lighting both Poser and DS equally.
Hi Mab, I will adjust that on my list. I am also a texture person. I just have not gotten the hang of modeling despite purchasing zBrush, Hexagon, and Silo 2. I tried Blender but that was actually even harder for me than zbrush. But is is always fun if somewhat daunting to learn a new program. I remember when I first got photoshop, I thought I would never be able to learn it, but it was quite an adventure. I hope you learn your program. I can't wait to see what you come up with for Dawn.
