Actually, the only reason I reinstalled Daz Studio was for the fbx export, which works well and easily - open Poser scene, export fbx, close Daz, done!

Then I noticed it comes with a free Poser figure: Genesis. And Genesis comes with a lowres version out of the box. For my specific needs this is incredibly useful. And it takes V4 textures - brilliant!

Clothing: granted, I may be a little odd because I've pretty much given up on conforming stuff - I can never get it to fit my characters, so I use Marvelous Designer for that which also gives me a first class cloth sim.

So, Genesis, it is not the Ultimate Figure as some would have us believe. But it is a very useful (for some) complimentary figure to V4M4. It works in Poser (and a once in a lifetime export from Daz Studio is hardly the Hokey Cokey).  And it's free. What's not to like?
