Quote - As for kids and teens, I know we want to, but cannot comment as to when we would get to that, of course.

Yay - good to know that's in the thought process.  We need kids (young and teen) as well as a baby, and having them share the same mesh would also be wonderful)

Quote - We all know it takes a lot of time and I for one would rather you NOT try to rush this out to try to please the impatient.  It sounds like you guys at HiveWire 3D have it under control and the right ideas so far. You are listening, and that is something that means more to this community than anything.

Agreed.   You are listening AND talking to us!!  Don't try to rush this to please the impatient.  If you pick a date and then can't get it by that time, JUST TELL US!!  :) Communicate, communicate, communicate (as you all have been). Chris said:

Quote - Someone asked about whether "Dusk" will have the same mesh as "Dawn"? Right now we are planning for them to share the same mesh but have separate and specific rigging.

Quote - *This is fantastic news...I was very disappointed that Genesis2 was separate meshes.*If we have the ability to use earlier content(hint, hint...autofit clones) I may just convert from Genesis altogether.

I won't go that far lol, but that would be sweet.  I too was very disappointed to see Genesis (which I LOVE) make that morph into separate male and female and ??? with Genesis 2.

Quote - *I am downloading Daz Studio 4.6. If this new figure is all I expect, it may be worth learning something about it. I am going to need Daz Studio for Dummies, or someone to take me by the hand and walk me through the process of making things compatible with Daz Studio.*I am a total Poser user - I once spent about half an hour in an earlier version of Daz Studio, got confused and never went back there again. But I can use Blender for modelling and sculpting, and I am quite handy with textures.

You might find it easier of a learning process than you think.  I had picked up earlier versions of DS (have been a Poser user since around Poser 2) and hated the interface of DS till version 4.  I didn't have that much trouble getting used to the interface and now prefer many aspects of it over Poser (though there are things I like more in Poser - if I could just get a programs with the best of both...).  Despite using both programs, I still feel like a beginner, but I am learning stuff about DS and will be happy to answer any questions I can.  I'm sure others who are far more experiences with DS will be happy to help, too!

There are some very nice tutorials on the web - just google Daz Studio 4 tutorial

Daz has many of them:

Go back about 2 years to their DS4 videos for good basic info

Randy Lloyd has some fabulous videos concerning one of my favorite outfits, the Genesis supersuit.  While much is specific to the suit, there is a ton of information that will help you with DS in general, so even if someone doesn't have the suit, I think they're really valuable tutorials.

Quote - I have a feeling a hair converter will be quickly released. Clothes we have the fitting room in 2014, or better yet dynamics. Shoes takes my vote, or even boots ;).

Don't forget - not everyone has/uses Poser or has the latest versions.  I personally use Poser Pro 2012 and DS 4.6. ;)

Quote - If they could include a "bulge" morph in "Dusk" then I'll be happy, even if I do have a friend who wants me to do nudes.

Just making this yellow (is that the right color?) for Richard.  I think that's an important option to have for "Dusk".  May as well start a list for him, too

And add a baby to the list of "wanting along with kids and teens" :)

Cheers,
