I know. It's not the truly thrudly system I dream about, but it should be able to handle this no problem. Even turned down the 3D acceleration in case that was the problem. No joy. I've had this problem on more than one occasion, but the last time it ever happened was rendering a still frame with about 6 characters and a truely phenominal ammount of lights. This has one character and uses a mildly tweaked pre-set for lighting and it hangs. A pain, as I said.
