As in... one of the ideas of Dawn is to bridge the applications... like the Stargate bridges different worlds? :)

How about Dawn and Spike (a la Buffy)... Okay that sucks (though not in a vampire way).

I like the analogy of "bridging other worlds" - it certainly fits. 

(Spike sounds too much like a name for a bulldog! :)
