Commercial items, however, would need to be converted by the purchaser for personal use only and could not be shared... so to see hints of possible collaborations to enable dual-platform releases by commercial artists is very encouraging.

That's what I was planning for freebies. I make dynamic clothes on occasion and was gonna release them with generous usage rights ;). IOW, if ya know how to use DS and wanna make a DS conforming version to distribute....knock yourself out. LOL.
