This might be an odd question, but I'm a newbie modeler so I'm allowed that until I have enough experiance to have common sense and ask normal questions.

I model in wings so things start out as a box and get cut and smooshed and tristed to look like clothes. So to start with I don't need a model even loaded, though it helps get things proportioned right. They said Dawn is roughly the size of V4 or V5 so can I use her as a stand in to get a start on some basic shapes and then refine them to fit Dawn once she's available or would this be a bad idea? I won't be rigging them, just leaving them dynamic if that makes a difference.
