Quote - These days you wouldn't use a dropper to deposite a drop of blood on a slide. You would use a capillary tube, a thin, most likely heparinized, glass tube. Dip the end into your solution or blood, cap the open end with your finger and then apply a tiny drop to your slide or substrate. Takes practice to get the drop just the right size.
