I'm late to the party, maybe because I was busy using Poser as a fabulous creative tool. :D I just want to register my approval of this thread, although I suppose it's vaguely disturbing that people need to be reminded of such a basic fact.

One of the attractions of Poser, to my mind, is that it offers different attractions to different people - which may be the very definition of a worthwhile hobby. If you like delving around in the innards of CR2s and making morphs with an Excel spreadsheet, Poser is for you; if you like pursuing photorealism, Poser is for you; if you want a basic image that you can paint over and/or postwork to death, Poser is for you; if you want to make your own depraved pornography, Poser is for you. ;)

With such a wide user base, it should be no surprise that there are disagreements. Maybe I ought to round off my list with: "if you want to pick a fight, Poser is for you." :P
