They have no way of preventing you from doing that, making your own and using it for yourself. Copyright is, in simplified terms, is all about distribution - think of a copying as a verb. You can't make it and distribute it (as a freebie or for sale), especially not for a non-daz figure.

Maybe DAZ will make the autofit clone....

 

I suppose it is possible if they see it as a way to sell their clothing content.
