I imported the *Eldar House* meshes into Poser this morning. These are previews using rather crude materials, but it's enough to show what will be stony hillside, what will be bare footpath, what will be muddy streambed, etc. The distinction among terrain materials is done using an RGB discriminator map. I use the Poser preview to see where I need to erase/repaint areas on the discriminator map. It commonly takes me a half dozen iterations to zero it in.
You can see texturing tile repetition here in the grass/clover and in the stone, but you won't see noticeable repetition in the finished product.
