The hair or rather fur in this case can be made alot finer. I've got another render queued up and will post it when I can. Here are the settings I used but with the finer strands. In my sample I used .2 and .4 respectivly for the tip and root width. There was no use of the styling tool or any draping. Also keep in mind dynamic hair likes higher render settings, something I didn't do in my sample. Usually I use 10 pixel samples or more and .10 min shade rate.
