Subject: Bryce render speeded up by ray spray??

Has anyone noticed that ray spray rendering could be faster than "normal" render. So here's what I did 1) created a complex scene with render time of many hours. 2) Stopped the render and started ray spraying the scene. Initially the rendering is slow but then I was able to render scene in about twenty minutes just by carefully moving the spray over entire screen. I'm very puzzled. The picture appears to look exactly the same with soft shadows etc. as in the hours long render. Am I missing something here? This can't be right! ------------- Susanna: Poser Animations to Bryce 4/5 www.datamike.com/susu.htm

There's no Anti-Aliasing in the RaySpray.

So, a nice technique for sharpening up areas where antialias has 'killed' the texture!

more time always means more quality, so theres probably a reason why its so much faster...
