Subject: What is a bone? Query re Lightwave .LWS-ese

A bone is just that. It is a non-rendering, null reference object used in the layout portion of Lightwave to set bending, rotation etc. IE. An imaginary bone within the mesh to define movement. Poser uses a variation of this with regard to joint parameters etc. only based directly on the objects geometry. There is no quick way to convert from one to the other and retain anything other than a static mesh that you'de have to make Poser ready. 3DWinOGL is the Open GL version of 3DWin. It provides an Open GL graphic view of the model while 3DWin doesn't show you the model. A long way to say theres no easy fix. Morbid
