Quote - Well, when i went into the "edit" page the option for my comments was to "Float Below Image,"  the opposite of what I originally had before this gallery update.  So, I decided to make it "Float Above Image" and , low and behold, now those that I have made that change to are showing in the gallery...something seems to be messed up with the code...

I guess most folks originally chose to have their comments below their images.

I have tested this and yes it does exactly as you say.  I will make sure that I get this reported to the programmers first thing in the morning.
