If you stored your real-time work in the cloud, all the previous versions would still be there, from every save. Just sayin.
Dropbox is free.
If you're worried about somebody seeing your files and stealing your intellectual property, then use Dropbox + Viivo. (I am the architect of Viivo) Viivo encrypts your stuff so that even the FBI can't read it no matter who they subpoena. You save to a Viivo folder (or any subfolder of that) instead of the Dropbox folder, but otherwise it works the same.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
