Quote - I thought Dawn was really disappointing, especially after all the hype. She comes with such limited morphs and the quality is not even close to what DAZ is turning out now with Genesis and Genesis 2. Why has the community chosen this platform or is everyone just still riding the hype horse for all it's worth. I'd figure that by now, with all the morph corrections and special realism morphs that have come out for V4 and Genesis, that a new and so widely anticipated figure would come out of the gate with much higher quality.
We have chosen her, because she takes advantage of all of the advances that Poser has had since the release of Poser 4. Dawn doesn't require an entire cottage industry of fixes or a half assed importer to work in Poser.
Content is coming in a slow but steady stream. I think the reason that content is moving at a slower pace is because the smarter vendors realise that they need to learn all the features that have been added to Poser over the last few years. With V4, a vendor could continue with the same workflow that has been used since the days of Poser 4 (which is why we are still seeing material .pz2 files in 2013).
In addition, many of them are either learning DS or looking for someone to partner with so that they can also reach that audience, because most of the Poser vendors rejected Genesis out of hand when it was released.
The only really crappy thing I have seen is her default texture - but that is the simplest thing to replace.
