Make sure that "Texture changes apply to entire figure" is NOT checked in this case. You are using TWO separate textures so you don't want one or the other being applied to the ENTIRE body. You want them applied to targeted spots. So as long as this is NOT checked you should be able to apply the textures independent of one another.. PAN~
