Quote - I prefer spending $2 to $3 for any poser content, so I buy my items at sale moments, like real deals sales, first friday bazaar and in the past at the platinum club, becoming a member for one month and buy every piece of clothing I do like. That's the way I do it and to me that's what it's worth, unless it's a huge pack of items, then I'm prepared to pay more, but it needs to have value for me. For collections I do pay at the most $10, depending on what's in them.
As a vendor, I do sell my items at the same price I do want to buy them. At CP most of my items are priced $2.49 (some more) and are always on sale for $1.99. I don't expect others to pay more for content then I would want to pay for it. Here at Rendo my prices are higher, due to store policy, but to get around it, I do create large collections, sold at the lowest possible price, so you still get good value for money.
Personally, I don't buy here often, the prices are just to high due to Rendo controlling them. Most of the items I need here, I try to trade and if I can't trade them I wait for them to become clearance ro participate in a special sale, but most of the time I just pass and look for cheaper alternatives.
I'm a small vendor, but I've survived for many years now, making a very steady income through content each year. Opposed to most small vendors (and even big vendors), I'm very pleased with the amount my content generates each month. Lately we've seen vendors quit, they cannot survive, but perhaps they should sart adapting a different policy then continually raising prices in order to survive. In a time of crisis, that's the way to kill your own business. I've seen no effect on my sales due to any crises, on the contrary, my sales continue to climb and I'm very happy and grateful for that, thanking my customers and the Lord God Almighty for such blessings in hard times :-)
And maybe that's the difference with me. I'm in this for a hobby not a living. That's why I can create all those freebies I've done so far. So if I start selling things it would definitely be only as a way to generate some extra cash. Maybe to pay for my internet access every month.
