Quote - And maybe that's the difference with me. I'm in this for a hobby not a living. That's why I can create all those freebies I've done so far. So if I start selling things it would definitely be only as a way to generate some extra cash. Maybe to pay for my internet access every month.

I understand, then price it for what you think it's worth :-) People say they are willing to pay X amount, but that depends on what they have in mind. You should put up an example and then ask. Always keep in mind that most people who buy never come here, so you will never get a good idea what people are willing to pay.

If you start selling here, then Rendo will set a minimum price for your product, depending on what category your product is in. They want equality in their prices, no competition, it's to protect their larger vendors. Let's say you create trousers for M4 and I create trousers for M4 as well. Yours are plain and simple, mine are very detailed and complex. Rendo says it's trousers so the price is $9.99 (not what it would be really, but just for the example). My trousers may be worth $9.99, but yours aren't, they should have a lower price. But because they are trousers, the $9.99 is the minimum price. Mine will sell great, yours won't. So before starting to sell content, you need to consider that and be aware that the major stores, Rendo, RDNA and Daz control the prices set, not the vendor, you don't have that freedom at all. If they think it's to low or to high they will alter the price. Not so that you can sell more, but in order to protect their larger vendors, otherwise the competition would kill them. That is a huge problem for the starting vendor trying to break into the market. Keep this in mind if you think of selling your stuff.

Good luck with it!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....
