I know the problem with CP, but I guess most people that buy there are used to it and back up all their stuff :-)

All I can say in all honesty is that I made as much at CP last month as I've made here for a whole year..... keeping in mind that these are the slow months. CP leaves me free to determine my own prices and for me that works. Every month one or more items I have are top selling at CP. Rendo controlling prices is killing my business here, as well as many others and there is no real reason to control prices. They never used to do that, but top vendors are loosing business due to their high prices and instead of lowering prices in a bad economy, we're all forced to raise our prices to match these top sellers ridiculous prices.

Also keep in mind you don't have to sell exlusively here. Rendo gives you the choice to sell your items exclusivel or non-exclusive. If you sell exlusive, you get a higher margin and other benefits, but choosing non-exlusive allows you to sell at other places. RDNA and DAZ only do exclusive and are way more controlling in lot's of aspects then Rendo is. When I started out I had a store here and at CP. I always sold well at CP and when I started out I sold here fine too, at that time Rendo didn't control the prices. After being vendor for a while RDNA invited me to come over and join them. I did so for 6 months or so.... should have never done that. Lot's of control and requirements and it almost killed my business and I was at the point of stopping as a vendor. I left, moved all my items over to CP and Rendo and my sales did well again. Then Rendo started to enforce all kinds of things upon vendors as well and my sales started some issues happened and I closed my store here for 2 years. In those 2 years a small number of customers begged me to go back here, they refused to buy at CP. In the end I re-opened my store here and was faced with the new pricing policy (and many others). For customers sake I keep my store here open, but my sales here are nothing compared to what they used to be when I could set the prices. I know it's the same for others and some have left already and some didn't sell anymore seeing all of their items disappear from the store, being forced to stop as a vendor. I'm sure at some point in time all my store items will be moved to clearance and removed from the store and lost to the Rendo customer for ever. It's the way policy is now and it's sad to see many great items being removed from the store in favor of many not so great, but more popular items.

Well, that's live these days for vendors. So, sell here non-exlusive and sell at other places who allow that as well, don't go exclusive in the beginning, but spread your chances a bit and you can always go exclusive if your items seem to be selling well at a particular place.
