there is no real quick way to do this, to import the transmaps, you have to export the object or scene from poser as a obj. format, import into bryce, it will come up with a dialog box asking for each texture, browse them out and apply them. now using one of the camera views, get close on the hair, use ctrl-click on the hair, and it will come up with a list of selected parts of the mesh the mouse is over, the alice hair props will be numbered 1_22, 1_20 and so on down to 1_16, use ctrl-right click to select them all, so you only have to set the editor once, pick m from the drop down menu beside the head, go into the material editor put the transparency marble in the first channel, from the drop down menu to the left of the three windows on the upper right, select "blend transparency", if the proper texture is showing applied in the first of three windows, hit the second purple/blue radio button over top of the first window, you will go to the next step of the editor, showing a box with the three windows again, the hair texture is in the first window, the next two are blank, in the second window, click the word load over the window, and search out and apply the transmap, it will appear in the second window, and the finished product will appear in the third window, apply that, and apply the main settings in the editor. you may find you will want to go back in to the editor and experiment with various diffuse, ambient, and transparency settings with their sliders, sort of a season to taste thing. Also if you go into in the bryce forum, and run a search for importing transmaps into bryce, you will find two very good tutes, by either picnic(diane b), or kate the shrew, with screencaps, showing you step by step how to do this.
