I recently got an APPCRASH on exception C0000005 as well, but in P3dO. And some system applications like Speccy which could not report on my HW component temperatures anymore.

Search on the net: it seems somewhat random, not related to a specific application, other people have it with different applications like games etc. So no, it's not Poser.

The main cause is in some dll, attempting to mix the code and data area which is forbidden (access violation error). Things that might help:

 - other / newer drivers, especially for video (but in your case: for tablet?)
 - complete registry scan and repair

I did:

 - complete cleanup using CCleaner (free) - no effect
 - complete driver renewal for all hardware including motherboard (free) - no effect
 - PC Cleaner pro (not free) - no effect
 - WiseFixer (not free) - no effect
 - Repair All-In-One from tweaking.com (free) - solved all problems

Since the latter solved more problems on my 64-bit Win system, nightmare infection residues included, it has become my favorite.
