I got a full copy of Bryce 3D from a magazine CD and it only cost $7.95! Full, older versions of programs are frequently available with most every UK art magazine along with tutorials to get you started (I live in the US and so far I can only find such magazines at CompUSA). I would expect to see Bryce 4 show up on one of those CDs sooner or later.
